Saiphin Moore, along with her husband Alex, co-founded Rosa’s Thai Cafe in London- in 2008.

She grew up on a farm in Thailand, where she opened a noodle shop aged just 16.

Saiphin and Alex met when both were working in Hong Kong, and moved to London in 2006. She began selling her authentic Thai food from a market stall in Brick Lane, East London, before opening her first restaurant.

There are now 30 Rosa’s, with the nearest to York in Leeds.

The all-day menu includes pad Thai noodles, green curry and a selection of stir fries.

On the drinks menu, you can try Rosa’s Thai PA beer, Thai whisky, and cocktails including a strawberry and Thai basil mojito called Bangkok Night Out.

Helmsley Group purchased several units including the one housing the vacant Joe’s Kitchen in May.

The four-storey building, built in 1960, has 4,782 sq ft of food space.
