This week we visited our Restaurant of the Week, Pizza on the Square.
Restaurant of the Week: Pizza on the Square, Malton
In Malton’s beautiful old Town Hall, Pizza on the Square offers a dining experience with stunning views over the square and a bright, open space inside. It’s the perfect spot for everything from a relaxed lunch to a lively family tea.
This is relaxed, social dining at its best, where great food meets great company.
The team here are serious about their pizza craft, making each sourdough base from scratch on site. The pizza is wonderfully crisp and full of flavour, and will definitely keep you coming back for more.
They also offer a selection of excellent ales from Ossett Brewery, which are punchy, creative and perfect for craft beer lovers or those just looking to try something new. I tried the Alpaca, I’m a rare pint drinker, but it was light, lovely and very nice indeed. Well worth a try.
Don’t miss out on the sides either, the onion rings are some of the best I’ve had in Yorkshire.
It’s not just about the food, either... Pizza on the Square is a real community hub, hosting regular quiz nights and live music evenings. Whether you’re dropping in for a quick bite or settling in for the night, one thing’s for sure, you’re in for a great time with this bunch!
