A nine-year-old boy was hurt in a hit-and-run collision and police are investigating.
A white van on Middleton Road, Pickering, collided with the boy as he was walking to school.
It happened around 8.45am on 13 September, but police have only recently been made aware of the incident.

The van involved did not stop after the child was struck.
The child sustained a slight injury and was shaken up following the incident.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “We’re appealing for any witnesses to the incident, anyone who may have seen the vehicle involved or anyone with relevant dashcam footage, to contact us.”
