YorkMix are teaming up with York Sport to bring you the ultimate themed group cycle class – and YOU get to choose the playlist theme! One lucky voter will also be selected to win a three month FREE gym membership at York Sport.
From Country to Beyoncé, 2000s throwbacks, or Clubland Classix, this is your chance to ride to your favourite beats in a FREE group cycle class like no other.
There will be a free group cycle class open to the public on Wednesday 19 November – and we want YOU to help shape it.
Vote for your top theme from our shortlist and be part of the hype! The theme with the most votes will be brought to life in an epic free group cycle class on Wednesday 19 November at 6PM at York Sport Village. Plus – if you vote, you’ll be entered into our incredible prize draw!
No membership required to attend – anyone can vote and join the class.
Our group cycle classes are a high-energy, music-fuelled indoor cycling workout that take you through sprints, hill climbs, and powerful intervals – all led by an expert instructor and set to an epic playlist that keeps you motivated from start to finish.
Whether you’re a total beginner or a fitness pro, you control the resistance and pace, making it perfect for all levels. It’s an incredible way to burn calories, boost your cardio fitness, build lower-body strength, and clear your mind – all while riding with the energy of a motivating group around you!

Voting and Class Information:
- The winning theme will be announced on 10 November, and bookings for the free group cycle class will go live via the York Sport Eventbrite page.
- The Themed Group Cycle Class will take place on 19 November at 6pm at York Sport Village.
- All prizes are subject to availability
- 3 month Gym Membership: Membership available at York Sport Village for 3 consecutive months from the initial start date. Includes membership wristband. Access to all member facilities and benefits for the duration of the membership. Cannot be used in conjunction with any other vouchers. Voucher recipient must be aged 16 or over. Voucher can be used by a current York Sport member. York Sport reserves the right to terminate the membership of any member who in the opinion of York Sport is in breach of facility rules.
- Family Swim Voucher: Voucher gives access to Open Swim and Family Swim sessions at York Sport Village. Voucher has a value of £14.50 and is based on a group of up to 4 people. The attending group must include at least one adult and one child. Children aged 8 years and over may attend public swimming unaccompanied. Children under the age of 8 years must be accompanied by a responsible person aged at least 18 years old or the parent/legal guardian. One responsible person aged 18 or over may supervise two children aged between 4 and 7 years; or one child under 4.
