Police have released CCTV after paint was thrown over cars in Tadcaster.
It happened at around 11pm on Wednesday 13 March on Queens Gardens.
The paint was thrown over two parked unattended vehicles.
Officers investigating the criminal damage want to talk to the man in the video above.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “Please contact us if you recognise the man pictured on CCTV, as he may have information that will assist our investigation.”
