A man suffered serious injuries after being attacked on a York city centre street late last night (Sunday).
It happened at midnight on Micklegate.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “It involved a younger man assaulting an older man resulting in serious head injuries which needed hospital treatment.
“We’re appealing for information about the assault.”
They particularly want to talk to a man described as:
- white
- 19 to 20 years old
- 6ft 1ins tall
- with brown hair.
He wore a navy RAB jacket, skinny blue jeans and green trainers.
