German Doner Kebab (GDK) have launched a brand new product to take the kebab to the next level – and it’s pink!
Hailed as the UK’s first pink kebabs, they will come in two different sizes – Coco and Kiki.
They’re served in a fluffy pink coconut-infused waffle bread and are combined with doner meats, fresh lettuce, tomato, onion, and red cabbage.
The GDK location in York opened in March 2022 on Piccadilly.
The fast food restaurant offers a range of gourmet kebabs, as well as burgers, nachos and panini.
Daniel Bunce, GDK Global COO, said: “We’re excited to finally introduce the Coco and Kiki kebabs to our list of game-changing products and give our customers something disruptive and deliciously unexpected.”
Customers will be able to get their hands on the Coco kebab for £6.99, and the smaller Kiki kebab for £3.
The pink kebabs are available for dine-in and takeaway, and for delivery from August.
