Move over ice cream – how about a cone of frozen custard this summer?
The York food stall Crumbles, which proved a major hit at last year’s Christmas market, is once again taking the humble crumble to a whole new refreshing level with frozen custard.
Not only can you top your crumble with frozen custard, but you can also order their special frozen custard cones too.
As well as classic crumble flavours like apple and rhubarb, Crumbles also have monthly specials to try – such as July’s strawberry shortbread crumble cone.

The stall moved into a permanent spot on Shambles Market this year, after it’s success at Christmas. The dessert stall is part of the much-loved Shambles Kitchen.
Crumbles is open on Shambles Market on Sunday to Friday, 11am – 4:30pm, and Saturdays 11am – 5pm.
