The first ever YorkMix Choice Awards brought together the most amazing, generous, talented and creative people for an event like no other.
Individuals, organisations and businesses packed into the sellout grand final at the Principal Hotel for the glittering awards ceremony last night.
Sponsored by Yorkshire Profiles, the YorkMix Choice Awards saw awards given to winners in 20 categories, from Best Café to Charity of the Year.
The awards ceremony was hosted by the YorkMix Radio Breakfast Club – David Green, Laura Castle and Leigh Nicholson.
“Tonight we are hear to celebrate your organisations. Each of your businesses was nominated in the first ever YorkMix Choice Awards and your tireless campaigning has seen you reach the grand final,” YorkMix Radio MD David Green told the audience.
The winners were chosen by public vote. In total, nearly 50,000 votes were cast. So who took the awards?
