Disco fun is promised as two popular summer bars return to York this summer.
The popular pop-up bars from Thor’s Tipi have revealed their locations and dates for 2025.
Thor’s at The Milner Hotel Gardens opens from from Friday 16 May through to Monday 25 August.
It is followed by Thor’s Orangery on Parliament Street, opening on Friday 23 May and also running till Monday 25 August.
The Ibiza-inspired Thor’s will bring a “disco twist” to the Milner Gardens. “This year, it’s all about glitz, grooves, and good times,” the organisers say.
“There are weekly silent discos and plenty of dance floor moments.”
Thor’s Orangey will also be bringing the vibes with live music and community events, and fire pits to keep you warm as the sun goes down.
There will be live music on Parliament Street from local bands and artists every Sunday and Thursday.
