Anton Du Beke has embraced his favourite time of year and announced his brand-new nationwide Christmas tour.
One of the country’s best-loved entertainers, Anton is returning with his show, Christmas with Anton & Friends, after last year’s hugely successful run, which included a sold-out show at York Barbican.
A self-confessed Christmas enthusiast, Anton will be joined by singer Lance Ellington, a live band, and a company of dancers for an evening of song, dance and festive cheer. The show will feature Anton’s favourite Christmas classics, a big sing-along, and a spectacular medley to close the night.
The tour opens in Truro on 20 November, before visiting Harrogate on 1 December and York Barbican on 21 December, as well as 18 other towns and cities across the UK.
Anton announced the tour in a light-hearted video joined by his children, George and Henrietta, filmed poolside while wearing reindeer antlers and singing Christmas songs.
Anton said: “As the song says, ‘It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year.’ You can’t start talking about Christmas too early in my opinion. The children, Hannah and I absolutely love it. Nothing compares to it, it’s the best time of the year.”
“I loved doing the shows so much last year – they were simply magical – so I genuinely can’t wait to get on the road and do it all again,” he added.
