One person has been taken to hospital after a crash on a busy York road this morning (Monday).
It happened on New Lane in Huntington, close to the entrance to The Island charity headquarters
A red Vauxhall Corsa and a large HGV collided.

The front of the Corsa was very badly damaged. The lorry also sustained some serious damage to its front.
The driver of the lorry was unhurt.
YorkMix understands the Corsa driver’s injuries are not life threatening.
New Lane was partially closed while wreckage was cleared from the carriageway. It has now reopened.
