A man in his 70s has been stabbed outside a York hotel early this morning.
It happened at around 5.15am today (Thursday) outside the Moxy hotel in Black Horse Lane, off Peasholm Green.
The victim was taken to hospital by ambulance. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

The suspect was reported to have left the scene on a bike.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “Following an area search, officers from the Firearms Support Unit located and arrested the man on Barbican Road at 6.24am.



“He remains in custody for questioning while enquiries continue.”
The arrested man is 25 and local, police say.
The area was cordoned off until around 10.10am.
Police say this incident has no connection with the stabbing incident earlier this week in which two suspects have been charged to court.
