A man is fighting for his life in hospital after being attacked on a York street.
The violent incident happened on Windmill Lane between 11pm and midnight on Friday 26 September.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “It involved a man aged in his 30s being assaulted and receiving serious injuries.

“He is in a critical condition in hospital.”
