The countdown to Christmas is on – oh yes it is! – as we met the cast of Cinderella at the Grand Opera House York.
The cast are looking forward to bringing all the festive fun to the city in what promises to be a pantomime full of magic, music and mayhem.
It stars Coronation Street‘s Lisa George as the Fairy Godmother, winner of ITV’s Mamma Mia! I Have A Dream Tobias Turley as Prince Charming, and West End star Rachel Grundy as Cinderella.

The star-studded cast also includes actor and comedy performer Jimmy Bryant as Buttons, West End drag superstars Luke Attwood and Brandon Nicholson as the Ugly Sisters, and musical theatre star Bradley Judge as Dandini.
Cinderella is at the Grand Opera House from Saturday 6 December 2025 to Sunday 4 January 2026.

Cinderella has a script by award-winning Jon Monie, and promises laugh-out-loud set pieces and heart-tugging moments of magic and transformation, glittering costumes, high-energy dance routines, intricate lighting design and jaw-dropping stage effects.
