This is the moment when four bike riders put pedestrians and other road users at risk in York.
The riders speed along Ouse Bridge in the dark, some going on the wrong side of the road.
North Yorkshire Police has released the CCTV video and say they are trying to locate the riders.

On Facebook, North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “We’ve recently seen an increase in the illegal riding of electric motorbikes in York as well as other areas across North Yorkshire.
“As can be seen in this clip, the ‘Sur-Ron’ bikes are being driven dangerously in York city centre on Ouse Bridge after dark.
“This is not only putting the safety of pedestrians and other motorists at risk, but it’s intimidating for members of the public and therefore not acceptable.
“In this instance the riders fled from the bridge, but enquiries are underway to identify and locate them.”
They urged people to make themselves aware of the law around the bikes, adding: “In York, our CCTV operators are looking out for reckless riding on bikes like this, ensuring that they record all footage for evidence which can be used towards prosecution.
“The team will also alert our roads policing units immediately.
“We will be increasing specialist patrols in York and other areas where the riders are using bikes illegally.”
Some commenters asked why the police van seen flashing its blue lights in the footage didn’t go after the riders at the time. North Yorkshire Police hadn’t responded at the time of publication.
