A man was seriously hurt after falling from a tree yesterday evening (Saturday).
Paramedics were called to the incident in Wilsill, west of Ripon, at around 5.20pm.
They then called in a fire crew from Ripon to help lift the patient into the ambulance.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “A male tree surgeon aged in his 20s had fallen from a tree he was cutting.”
He was taken to hospital with suspected cervical spine injuries.
