A fire was started deliberately in a York suburb last night (Tuesday).
Firefighters from Acomb were called to reports of a fire in the open at Bellhouse Way, Foxwood at 8.32pm.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “An Acomb crew attended the area after a report of a fire in the open.
“The crew located the fire and extinguished using buckets of water. Cause deliberate. Police in attendance.”
