If you’re a fan of pasta, this one’s for you.

To celebrate opening its new York location, Pranzo is giving away free pasta dishes.

One hundred customers who sign up to the giveaway will get the chance to try one of the restaurant’s signature mains, completely free, as the venue opens its doors this July.

Pranzo York is located on Church Street, in the previous YO! Sushi site. It will have seating for more than 80 diners.

This will be the fourth in the Pranzo family, as it follows three established restaurants in Ilkley, Harrogate and Horsforth.

Dishes on the menu include seafood bigoli, beef shin ragu with mafalde, or the nduja paccheri, a dish unique to Pranzo with ingredients sourced from southern Italy.

Owner Marco Greco is pleased to be opening in York. “It’s a beautiful city. Opening a restaurant here has been a long-term goal,” he said.
