Fire and ambulance crews were called in after a car hit a deer on a North Yorkshire road.
It happened at 9.24pm on the A170 at Scawton.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Crews from Helmsley and Easingwold responded to a report of a road traffic collision where a car had impacted a deer.

“An occupant of the vehicle was extricated due to pre-existing medical complications and left in the hands of paramedics.”
