A man was rescued from the river in York last night (Saturday).
Emergency services were called to the River Foss at 6.29pm.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “A male was rescued from the river using a 9-metre ladder.
“The York and Acomb crews were in attendance.”
