A man and a woman were both hurt after a fight broke out in a shop car park.
It happened on Monday (9 June) at about 8.45pm in the the Co-op car park on Beckfield Lane, Acomb.
Both people were aged in their early 20s and suffered injuries but they didn’t need hospital treatment.

A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “A man has been arrested in connection to this and has been released on bail pending further investigation.
“We’re particularly appealing for information about anyone who may have directly witnesses the incident, and can provide an account on what they saw.”
