Firefighters were called out after lightning struck a wind turbine this afternoon (Thursday).
Crews from Harrogate and Wetherby went to the incident at Pannal Green, Pannal, at 2.27pm.
A turbine engineer was also called in to investigate the fuse box.
Incident location
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “No other was fire found inside the premises after an investigation with the fusebox believed to have done its job and prevented further damage following the strike.”
