Firefighters were called to a fire in a children’s play area in York last night (Saturday).
A crew from Huntington went to the park off Leeside in Acomb, at 7.11pm.
Children’s play equipment had been set on fire.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Crews used one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire. The cause of the fire was deliberate.”
