A cold caller fleeced a resident in York – and police want to speak to this man about it.
The over-charging incident happened on Garth End, Huntington, at about 11am on Wednesday 25 September.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “It involved a cold caller attending an address and an item was purchased.
“However, a much higher amount came off a bank card than the agreed price.
“Please contact us if you recognise the man pictured on CCTV, as he may have information that will assist our investigation.”
