York Restaurant Week is back, 4 Restaurants in 4 Hours!

York Restaurant of the Week is here, and I'm full already!

We’ve officially launched York Restaurant Week with York BID, a tour and the Town Crier.

This October, over 100 restaurants across York are taking part in the delicious two week promotion, running until Wednesday 23rd October.

To kick things off in style, I visited four fantastic spots in just four hours, broadcasting live on YorkMix Radio. We started at The Savvy Baker where I tucked into some of the most delicious brownies... what a breakfast! Then we headed to Days Café on Parliament Street where York’s very own Town Crier, Ben Fry, joined us to officially launch the promotion... the bell ringing echoed up and down the streets of York! Next up was Pranzo, and let me tell you, their tiramisu was the best, rich, creamy, and authentic. We finished the tour with a dash across town to The Fat Badger with a halloumi burger, loaded fries and signature burger, gorgeous food and super cozy venue.

There were plenty of other highlights too, like the indulgent chocolate cake from Beth Bakes at Days, the warm Italian welcome at Pranzo and bold decor at The Savvy Baker.

York Restaurant Week has already proven to be a big hit, in March 2025 it was a record breaking event for participation and voucher downloads. It’s a brilliant showcase of York’s food scene, with everything from cosy cafes, street food and affordable bites, to indulgent dining.

It’s the perfect excuse for a coffee with a friend, a midweek date night, or a treat for the family.

Don’t miss out, all deals can be found at yorkrestaurantweek.co.uk - It runs till 26th October.
