Many YorkMix listeners and readers contacted us to say they had been woken by a helicopter circling round York city centre this morning (Thursday).
It was seen and heard over the Minster and surrounding area at around 4.40am for about 20 minutes.
If you were woken up, it was for a good cause.
North Yorkshire Police told us the helicopter was searching for a missing teenager who was found safe and well.
