Police want to speak to this man about a ‘shocking, unprovoked’ racist attack in York.
The victim of the attack, a man in his 30s, was punched in the face several times by a man at the University of York at around 2.30pm last Thursday (4 September).
He suffered facial injuries and had to go to hospital for a check up.

Chief Inspector Ryan Chapman, from North Yorkshire Police, said: “This was a shocking unprovoked attack, and we are working at pace to identify those responsible.
“I’d urge anyone with any information that could assist our investigation to contact us straight away.”
Today police have released this image of a man they want to talk to about the assault and racial abuse.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “Please contact us if you recognise him, as he may have information that will assist our investigation.”
