A car collided with a bike on the A19 near York – and then drove off.
It happened last night (Sunday) at around 7.10pm near Crockey Hill.
A light-coloured Vauxhall Corsa collided with a cyclist before leaving the scene.
The cyclist was taken to hospital where he was treated for minor injuries.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “The road was closed for a short period while we investigated the scene.
“We’re appealing for any witnesses to the collision, anyone who may have seen the vehicle prior to the collision, or anyone with relevant dashcam footage, to contact us.”
