Police are appealing for the public’s help to find a racist who abused a York woman in her own home.
What officers described as a “shocking incident” happened at about 2.15pm yesterday (Wednesday) outside a property on Kingsway North.
The man, who was bare chested, shouted racial abuse and threats at the lone woman resident inside.

He then damaged her car by throwing a fence post at it.
Police are asking for the public’s help to identify the man. He’s described as
- white
- in his early 30s
- about 5ft 6ins tall
- of round build
- with short hair.
He was bare chested, and wore black jogging bottoms and carried a small black shoulder bag which hung down to his waist.
