Two fire crews tackled a blaze in the York area last night (Tuesday).
Crews from York and Huntington went to a vehicle and caravan on fire near Strensall at 10.38pm.
Both a hose reel jet and foam was used to put out the flames.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Mains gas to the caravan was isolated and inspected by the gas board.
“The cause of the fire is to be investigated by a fire investigation officer during daylight hours.”
