Pictures: Glamour and thrills on day 1 of the Ebor Festival at York Races

Fabulous fashion and scintillating sport combined to create the perfect opening day of the Ebor Festival at York Racecourse today (Wednesday).

On the track, there’s no doubting who was the star of the show.

Baaeed dazzled on the Knavesmire to maintain his unbeaten record with a dominant display in the Juddmonte International Stakes.

The he world’s highest rated racehorse, Baaeed landed the feature Group One when tackling 10 furlongs for the first-time in his career.

And as well as all the racing action, there were many winners in the fashion stakes, as our pictures show.
