Emergency services were called to someone trapped on a fence by the river in York last night.
Fire crews went to the incident on Peckitt Street at 11.56pm.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “York crew attended and assisted with releasing a person trapped on a fence.

“Crew power was used to release the person back to safe ground. Checks carried out, believed no injuries. Person left in care of the ambulance crews.”
