North Yorkshire pub wins national award for best beer

A North Yorkshire pub has been named the ‘best beer pub’ in the UK.

Blind Jack’s, located in the heart of Knaresborough, was awarded the title at the 2025 Great British Pub Awards which took place this week.

The awards aim to showcase the very best in hospitality and community spirit, and are judged by a panel of top industry experts from hundreds of entries across the country.

Blind Jack’s were crowned champions of Best Beer Pub, sponsored by SIBA’s Indie Beer Campaign.

Known for it’s craft beer selection, the family-owned independent pub was founded in 1991, and has been listed in the Good Beer Guide for over thirty years.

The bar at Blind Jack’s has eight keg craft beer lines and six cask hand pulled real ales that are constantly changing, and also offer up fine wines and premium spirits.
