A new exercise studio has opened in York, launching with a charity fundraiser.
PureForm Studio, which specialises in reformer pilates, is now open at Leeman House, Holgate.
It’s begun by hosting a three-day charity event in aid of St Leonard’s Hospice. People can pay £12 for a reformer session, with funds going to the hospice.
There are still some sessions available tomorrow (Saturday, 27 September) – you can book here.
PureForm Studio is run by mother and daughter team Sarah and Sophia Inness.
Sarah said: “My love for Reformer Pilates began over ten years ago when I was living in London – and I was hooked from the very first class. The way it builds strength, improves posture, enhances flexibility, and supports mental wellbeing had me instantly addicted.
“It’s low-impact yet incredibly effective – and suitable for everybody, no matter your age or ability.
“As my daughter grew older, she also fell in love with it, and it became something special we shared together.
“After moving back to York from Milan, we struggled to find a studio that truly ticked all the boxes – somewhere that not only had the best equipment and instructors, but also felt warm, welcoming, and community-driven.”
