A man was attacked on a Saturday afternoon outside a Malton supermarket.
It happened at around 4.30pm on Saturday 23 March outside the Morrison’s Daily on Milton Avenue.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “During the incident a man received several punches to his face and received a cut requiring hospital treatment.

“A man was arrested a short time later but has subsequently been bailed.
“We’re particularly appealing for any information about the assault, such as descriptions about the people involved or what took place, that could help with our investigation.”
