It’s York City’s big day! New video and song released as cup fever takes hold

Excitement – and tension – are building as time ticks down to the biggest game York City have played in years.

At 3pm, the National League North play off final will kick off at a sold out LNER Community Stadium.

City take on Boston United in the battle to be promoted into the National League.

A record crowd of 7,500 will be at the stadium, with the large majority of City fans cheering their team on.

Rules on the day

If you are one of the lucky ones with a ticket here’s some things you should know.

  • Turnstiles open at 1pm. Get there early – the electronic ticketing system always causes queues
  • The police are taking a zero tolerance approach to flares, pitch invasions and more
  • Detection dogs will be present in and around the stadium
  • The Fanzone will be split in half to segregate the Azuma (East) Stand and Nfinnerty (South) Stand
