Time’s running out to nominate your business for this year’s YorkMix Choice Awards.
The awards aims to celebrate businesses in our area that are making a difference, and first round nominations close this Friday (12 September).
Sponsored by York St John University, the event is unique as there are no judges – all the finalists and winners are chosen by our readers and listeners who use your business.
And to make things even better, there’s six month’s worth of free advertising for every nominee!
Every local business that’s nominated will receive a six month membership to our brand new online business directory, The YorkMix Orange Pages, which launches in September. We’ll make all the arrangements and you’ll receive free marketing from YorkMix for six months.
Are you a local plumber, builder or gardener? Nominate your business for Best Household Service! Are you perhaps a craft fair trader or side hustling hobbyist, then nominate yourself for Best Micro Trader.
Other categories include Best Event, Place to Stay, Large Gym, Personal Care, Professional Services, Best Pub, Best Venue, Best Restaurant and Best Large Attraction.
The winners will be announced in a live ceremony on Thursday 23rd October at the Milner Hotel.

All eligible nominations go automatically through to the first round.
Please only nominate a business or organisation if you are legally able to represent it, for example if you own the business or you are an employee with permission to nominate.
