A gang attacked a man on a York street and stole his e-bike.
It happened on Beckfield Lane, Acomb, at around 11.40pm last Wednesday, 29 October.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “The victim, a man in his 20s, was attacked by a group of people who deliberately rode into him and stole his electric cycle after hitting him on the head.

“The victim was found by a passing member of the public who provided assistance and took the victim home.
“We are appealing to the member of the public to come forward along with anyone else who was in the area at the time or has any information that could assist the investigation.”
They would also like to hear from anyone in the area who may have captured the incident or a group of people on bikes on their doorbell or private CCTV footage.

A 20-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and released on police bail to allow further enquiries to be carried out.
