Fatness to Fitness - Week 3!

Those of you who listen to the Breakfast Club regularly will know that I'm on a bit of a mission ...

The aim, is to completely change my lifestyle! I dont mind admitting, I've not felt great for a few months so I decided that something simply had to change and that's where Transform York come in. Tom Storr is a personal trainer and the owner of Transform in York (you can find out more about them here www.tspersonaltraining.co.uk) and Tom asked to meet with me to discuss a personal, 90 day plan which covers a complete overhaul of my diet, regular sessions at the gym with the TY team and access to a wealth of other resources that will help me. 

It's not been easy, but wow have I been feeling the benefits! We're three weeks into my journey, and I've lost 7.9kg! 

I've found that I'm sleeping much better, I have more energy and (importantly) I'm recovering much quicker after the gym sessions. 

Perhaps the biggest thing for me, is how much better I feel in myself. I mean, the fact that certain items of clothing are starting to fit me again, and I can see my belly going down are all great but its the effect that regular excercise is having on my mental health that I'm finding amazing. I'm using the drive to and from then gym to reflect on things, my journey, what has gotten me to this point, what it is I want to achieve and how I can be the best version of myself. 

It's only early days, we've only just gotten started, but you mark my words...come Christmas time...I'm gonna be an absolute beast! 

We find out every Wednesday morning at 8:30am how I've done that week, when Tom from Transform sends my progress voicenote to Laura and it gets played on air, I genuinely have no idea how I've done until that moment!
