Police responded to reports of youths spotted on a roof in the centre of Selby.
It happened in Gowthorpe at 8.26pm last night.
Officers then called in the fire brigade to help.

A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “A crew from Selby mobilised to a request from police to assist with a report of two teenage boys seen on a roof above a commercial premises.”
