Emergency roadworks have closed a main road near Selby.
They’re on the A63 Main Street at Monk Fryston.
Yorkshire Water engineers are working to fix a burst water main, close to the junction with the aptly named Water Lane.

A large hole has been dug into the road.
According to the One Network roadworks map, the work began yesterday (Sunday) and is scheduled to finish in a week (Monday 2 June).
This will be an estimate, the work may well be completed sooner.
In the meantime, traffic is being diverted around the back roads in the area.
