Updated: Wanted man arrested by North Yorkshire Police

Wanted man Richard Clarke has been arrested.

Police put out an appeal to find the Thirsk man in connection with a burglary, criminal damage and assault.

Today (Tuesday), North Yorkshire Police, issued this update: “Wanted man, Richard Clarke, 30, from the Thirsk area has been arrested.

“On Monday 18 December, we issued an appeal to find Mr Clarke who was wanted in connection with a number of offences. 

“He is now in police custody.”

This is Richard Clarke – he’s on the run from police.

North Yorkshire Police are asking the public to help find him, while urging them not approach Clark.

He  is 30-years-old and wanted in connection with a burglary, criminal damage and assault.

Clarke has links to the Thirsk area.

A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “Despite ongoing enquiries, he has not yet been located.

“The public are advised not to approach him. Instead, if you see him, or know where he is, please contact North Yorkshire Police.”
