Updated: The crash has now been cleared
Emergency services are on the scene of a crash in York this evening (Thursday).
It’s on the A1036 Tadcaster Road, near the BP London Bridge garage.
Two cars appear to have collided.

Diversions are in place. There are tailbacks onto the A64 near the turn-off to Askham Bar. Inbound traffic is hit harder than outbound.
There’s also been a three-car crash on the A64 eastbound slip road at Askham Bryan, affecting traffic going both there and to Copmanthorpe.
