The residents of a York home disturbed a burglar as he tried to steal their motorbike.
It happened at about 10.45pm last night (Tuesday) at Waterside Gardens off Huntington Road.
The suspect forced entry into a garage and attempted to steal a “high value motorbike” before he was spotted by the occupants.

The suspect is described as a man in his early 20s, approximately 5ft 9in tall and of skinny build.
He was wearing a dark jacket with a bright colour inside, dark trousers, and dark shoes.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “We’re particularly appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the man in the area, anyone who witnessed the burglary itself or anyone else with any ring doorbell or CCTV footage of a person matching that description in the area around this time.”
