A baby deer was trapped inside the courtyard of a building in Malton yesterday evening (Friday).
A fire crew from Malton responded to the incident at 6:31 pm, and assessed the animal for any injuries upon arrival.
Thankfully, none were found and the deer was ready to be released into the wild.
The crew reopened a gate to release the baby deer safely into an open field after ensuring no moving vehicles were in the area.
