Thieves strike at York car dealership after cutting through fence

Thieves were caught on CCTV breaking into a York car dealership.

It happened at the Arnold Clark car dealership, off Great North Way in Nether Poppleton, between 11pm on Thursday and 12.30am on Friday (23 May).

Four catalytic converters were stolen.

A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “Two suspects have been identified via CCTV gaining access to the compound by cutting through fencing.

“They have then removed the catalytic converters from four vans before leaving the scene via the access point they had created.”
