Firefighters from three stations went to a moorland fire in North Yorkshire last night.
Crews from Northallerton, Guisborough and Stokesley were called to the incident near Roseberry Topping at 6.34pm.
The fire covered about 25 metres.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “The crews used knapsack sprayers and created a firebreak until nightfall, and will revisit in the morning.”
