A shopping trolley was deliberately set on fire in York.
The incident occurred yesterday (21 February) and Acomb Firefighters received reports of the flames at 6:09pm.
The trolley was set alight behind a commercial building on Foss Islands Road.
The fire was extinguished prior to the crews arrival by staff from the commercial building.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue spokesperson said:
“Advice was given and the cause of the fire is believed deliberate.”
