Emergency services swung into action last night after a person became trapped on rocks in Scarborough yesterday (Sunday).
The RNLI lifeboat was launched to search the south bay coast for a person stranded on the rocks.
Firefighters were called in at 5.38pm.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “The person was located and left in the hands of RNLI. No assistance required by fire service.”
